Sr. Electrical Engineer, UAV
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Interacts with other members of engineering group, Production department, Flight Operations team, Quality team, program managers, inventory management and purchasing.

Reports To: Engineering Manager

GENERAL FUNCTION: Work with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle programs in the design and development of wiring harnesses, power supplies, antenna systems, analog circuits, printed circuit boards, and electronic test procedures.

DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years experience in design, analysis, and testing various analog disciplines including, but not limited to, wiring harness design, EMC/RFI shielding, antenna design, RF systems, and power supply design.
  • Aerospace company or UAV development experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and test various electronic systems for UAVs and ground support equipment.
  • Electronic diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Develop electronic test procedures.
  • Participate in Engineering as well as cross-functional team meetings.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Position is open to US Citizens only. Employees may be required to obtain a DoD Top Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Overtime/Weekend work may be required.
  • Travel may be required.
