ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Interacts with other members of engineering group, Production
department, Flight Operations team, Quality team, program managers, inventory management and purchasing.
Reports To: Engineering Manager
GENERAL FUNCTION: Work with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle programs in the design and development of
wiring harnesses, power supplies, antenna systems, analog circuits, printed circuit boards, and electronic test procedures.
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years experience in design, analysis, and testing various analog
disciplines including, but not limited to, wiring harness design,
EMC/RFI shielding, antenna design, RF systems, and power supply
design.
- Aerospace company or UAV development experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and test various electronic systems for UAVs and ground support
equipment.
- Electronic diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Develop electronic test procedures.
- Participate in Engineering as well as cross-functional team meetings.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Position is open to US Citizens only. Employees may be required to obtain a
DoD Top Secret Level Security Clearance.
- Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Overtime/Weekend work may be required.
- Travel may be required.
