Members of Naval Special Clearance Team One participated in a 2006 Silver Fox unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) evaluation by the New Zealand Ministry of Defense followed by a military to military demonstration in Australia . Flight operation demonstrations took place over two days in cold, damp rugged New Zealand terrain followed by day long flight operations in Australia . The operations included techniques, tactics and procedures for intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance under a Naval Air Systems Command contract.
